Stitch Fix, an online personal styling service, announced the addition of over 100 new brands to its roster, including premium denim labels.
Despite Hitwise data reports showing U.S. subscription boxes surpassing 40 million visits overall in January and March of this year, an increase if 831 percent, the overall U.S. subscription box market took a hit.
Stitch Fix seems unfazed as the company rolls out new denim assortment, which includes the likes of AG, Citizens of Humanity, J Brand, Joe’s Jeans, Paige and more for both men and women. More than half of the new offerings will be exclusive to Stitch Fix.
“We’re excited to deliver a new mix of premium brands in our Fixes,” said Stitch Fix CEO Katrina Lake. “This launch offers a compelling combination of recognizable brands that our clients know and love, as well as new emerging brands they can discover for the first time. Now, our stylists have even more ability to create the perfect Fix for each client.”
Stitch Fix trained 1,000 stylists on the new fits, constructions and fabrications of each of the denim brands. The new premium denim labels will be offered to those who have already chosen a high price point within their style profile.
