Stone Island’s polypropylene denim introduces a new level of lightweight performance.

For Fall ’16, the brand introduced its newest interpretation of classic denim, a polypropylene material touted as the “lightest fiber on earth.” The denim cloth weaves a polypropylene yarn into an indigo dyed cotton warp. The result is denim with antibacterial properties that has the look of a 19 oz. material but weighs just 10 oz.

The collection also includes polypropylene indigo knit made by weaving yarns especially created from indigo dyed polypropylene and cotton yarn with chain construction.

Highlights in the collection include polypropylene denim jackets with a PrimaLoft layer, a jumpsuit, trousers, as well as a mock neck knit shirt and indigo treated cotton sweatshirt.

The collection is available now exclusively on the brand’s app until Oct. 3.
