Stylist Zoe Costello Gives Hudson Jeans a Young Hollywood Makeover

A new collection considers denim through the lens of a celebrity stylist.

Centric Brands-owned Hudson Jeans tapped Zoe Costello, the Los Angeles-based stylist with a client roster that spans Migos, Tyga, Jessica Chastain, Jacob Eldori, Halsey, Grimes and more, for a fall capsule capturing the current style of young Hollywood.

One part dystopian and one part Y2K, the collaboration marries the edginess Costello is known for with Hudson’s laidback L.A. attitude and premium fabrics.

“Zoe is an influential stylist to some of the most visible music talent in the industry. She has been a longtime supporter of Hudson Jeans, placing the product on her clients and has built an authentic relationship with the brand,” said Suzy Biszantz, Centric Brands Group president, men’s and women’s.

The creative partnership was birthed from Hudson creative director Ben Taverniti’s friendship with Costello.

“Zoe has been a dear friend of mine and someone I have worked with for a long time,” he said. “This collaboration is completely organic given our history and it was the perfect opportunity to layer her in with Hudson in a meaningful and impactful way. I am excited to partner with one of the best stylists in the world to continue to build the brand and our consumer fan base.”

The women’s range includes an oversized denim trench, a light-wash, high-rise wide leg jean, and a high-rise cargo in three washes. The assortment also offers a denim corset (black and indigo) and a one-shoulder bodysuits in multiple colorways. For men’s, Costello designed a work pant and a cargo kick flare both offered in three washes. A camouflage utility denim Trucker jacket and denim work jumpsuit round out the men’s collection.

Details like neon green buttons, frayed seams, paint splatter and two-tone constructions call back to the streetwear look Hudson has been exploring as of late.

“As a stylist, I am presented with opportunities to help my clients truly express themselves through fashion. I have always wanted to express my own vision through a brand collaboration and Hudson Jeans has been an incredible partner,” Costello said. “I am confident that consumers will really identify with the styles we have designed and that they will be able to wear them for seasons to come.”

The capsule collection retails for $145-$695 and is available now at Neiman Marcus stores and online at Hudson, Saks Fifth Avenue and Revolve.
