Target Launches “Dear Jeans” Campaign for Fall

When it’s deliver-or-die, supply chains become the lifeblood of a company. To that end, the fashion industry has embraced technology to navigate today’s hyper-complicated supply chain, with myriad solutions shaping the first, middle and last mile. Call it Sourcing 2.0.

Target aims to rekindle women’s interest in denim with a new video campaign called, Dear Jeans.

The campaign stars five women as they write love letters to their jeans. Plus-size model Barbie Ferreira, poet Alex Elle, dancer Megan Batoon, DJ Brittany Skye, and beauty guru Dulce Candy share their their ups and occasional downs in the relationship that they have with jeans.

In the campaign, the women discuss which styles feel the most comfortable. From high-waisted to flare, the women discuss how their preferred styles flatter their body type, and they encourage other women to search for new styles and experiment with their fashion choices.

All of five ladies are well-known influencers on social media. In addition to the video campaign, the women have shared clips available on Instagram as they read their love letters to jeans.
