PF Flyers & Todd Snyder Release Military-Inspired Sneakers

PF Flyers unveiled its newest style co-designed with designer Todd Snyder, the Grounder Hi-Top in military canvas and leather.

The shoe combines Snyder’s fashion point-of-view and interest in military apparel with PF Flyers’ American tradition. The shoe is made with with 14 oz. military canvas, a solid rubber outsole and pigskin leather lining.

“This new style is based on an amazing vintage sneaker in [the PF Flyers] archive from when they were making shoes for the military,” said Snyder in a statement. “The military has always been a huge source of inspiration for me, and when I saw that, I just knew we had to reintroduce it.”

Snyder’s accolades include being named one of GQ’s Best New Menswear Designers, a CFDA Menswear Designer of the Year nominee, and a CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund Finalist.
