The Tommy Hilfiger brand is revisiting its streetwear roots in a new collaboration with Vetements for Spring ’18.
Designer Tommy Hilfiger posted a photo on his personal Instagram account, showing a red co-branded sweatshirt with both labels’ logos embroidered across the front. Meanwhile, Vetements teased the collaboration on its own account, showing the brand’s classic man-on-the-street pose, wearing a Tommy Hilfiger sweatshirt.
The collaboration with Tommy Hilfiger complements Vetements’ Spring ’18 collection, which includes 90s-inspired hoodies, baggy jeans, short-sleeve T-shirts and color block chinos.
Despite pulling back on traditional runway shows, Vetements has continued to stir up buzz in the fashion world, most recently presenting its spring line as a gallery of life-size photos in a multi-story parking lot in Paris.
Last year, the anti-fashion label famously collaborated with Levi’s, offering deconstructed versions of the iconic denim brand’s Trucker jacket and jeans.
