US Group is sourcing talent for its U.K. office locally.
In an effort to focus on the U.K. market and beyond, US Group announced Monday that it has hired British design dup Mohsin Sajid and Sadia Rafique of Endrime to head up its U.K. design office.
A highly accomplished denim designer, pattern cutter and vintage denim machine aficionado, Sajid has amassed an archive of 1000 vintage garments. He’s honed his craft at Westminster University and has been one of a handful of designers to be invited to attend Cone Denim College in Greensboro, N.C.
Rafique is an established art director, street photographer and illustrator. Recently her photographs have been published on WGSN and in Denim Boulevard’s The Overall magazine. She runs her own consultancy and art directs for Endrime and remains an artist exploring type.
Collectively, Sajid and Rafique have worked for some of the leading denim and apparel companies in the global industry for 15 years. Stints include Levi’s Japan, Edwin Europe, DKNY Jeans, Timberland, Evisu, Lee Jeans and Puma. They have consulted for Abercrombie & Fitch and Vivienne Westwood.
