Leave it to Brazilian denim specialist Vicunha to understand the importance of quality shades. The company collaborated for a second time with U.K.-based sunglasses manufacturer Mosevic on a line of sunglasses made with denim.
This season, the collection offers six frame styles made from Solid Denim, a resin composite from Vicunha’s Ever Black fabric made with BCI cotton. Different layers of denim are bonded with resin and solidified before the glasses are sanded into shape and polished by hand.
“Sustainability and a responsible use of resources are two of the core values we share with Mosevic. This makes us their ideal partner and a second release is simply the next logical step,” said Thomas Dislich, Vicunha Textile for Europe managing director. “And as a global company, Vicunha is a reliable partner and gladly supports innovative ideas on the market. Vicunha knows what it takes to combine environmental protection and social responsibility with the best ambitions, style and coolness.”
The sunglasses are available now on Mosevic’s online store.
