Wrangler’s Latest Drop Honors Reggae Icon Bob Marley

Wrangler’s latest collection pays homage to musical icon Bob Marley. The denim brand released the collection on Monday, on what would have been the reggae legend’s 75th birthday.

The denim brand collaborated with Marley’s family on an 11-piece collection for men and women. Featuring a mix of women’s and men’s T-shirts, denim jackets with patchwork inspired by Marley’s live albums, and unisex denim shirting, the collection includes the artist’s song lyrics and imagery throughout.

According to Wrangler, Marley’s strong will and idealism made him the perfect muse for the collection.

“Bob Marley is fondly remembered as someone who was strong and true to his convictions—qualities that are inherently connected to the Wrangler brand’s ethos,” said Holly Wheeler, Wrangler’s vice president, global brand marketing. “Wrangler is honored to have worked with the Marley family over the past year to design a unique collection that commemorates a music icon who has inspired generations of people through his commitment to fierce idealism and powerful songwriting.”

In the past, Wrangler has worked with musicians such as country singer Jon Pardi and rapper Lil Nas X.

The Wrangler x Bob Marley collection is available immediately on the Wrangler website, with select styles also available on Amazon and the Bob Marley website. Prices range from $29 for a T-shirt to $128 for a denim jacket.

As part of the collaboration, Wrangler will donate $25,000 to the Bob Marley Foundation, a Jamaican nonprofit that supports the Rastafarian community through education, music and culture, and environmental protection.
