Wrangler called on its 73 years of denim expertise to create the six must-have jeans styles for women this fall.
The denim brand just released a range of six heritage designs that apply all of the sustainable initiatives and fit preferences it has collected over the years. Styles within the Heritage Collection include essential high-rise fits every woman needs in her wardrobe, including a skinny, slim, straight leg, wide leg, flare and bootcut, and are available in a total of 11 different washes, from light-wash to black-coated denim.
The styles are based on the brand’s signature 0936 Wrangler cowboy-cut slim-fit men’s jean, featuring genuine leather patches and “W” stitching on the back pockets. Available in sizes 24 to 32, the collection includes a figure-flattering top block that hugs from the waist to the hips.
Styles feature a “cheeky fit,” which focuses on accentuating the rear instead of hiding or minimizing it. And according to Jamie Fason, director of Wrangler female, North America, now is the perfect time to introduce a denim collection that celebrates women’s bodies.
“Denim was created to withstand hard work and wear, and today, a pair of jeans is still the hardest working item in the wardrobe for many women,” she said. “While our sense of ‘normal’ has drastically changed over the past year, everyone is still looking for ways to feel like themselves, even from home—and sometimes pulling on a good pair of jeans that you know will fit and make you feel great can help do the trick.”
The collection incorporates the brand’s commitment to sustainability, using minimal water with processes such as Indigood foam dye and more sustainable cotton. It also uses renewable energy and preferred chemistry throughout its supply chain, and plans to introduce more sustainable materials to the collection in the upcoming Spring 2021 line.
The Heritage Collection retails from $99-$119 and is available now on the Wrangler website and in select retail locations.
