To celebrate the work of service men and women, Wrangler Jeans teamed up with NFL quarterback Drew Brees to launch Everyday Heroes, a program honoring people making a difference.
At a kickoff event at the fire department in Oak Ridge, NC, the brand awarded each fireman a comfortable new wardrobe. In coming months, Wrangler will continue to surprise firemen, policemen, military men and noteworthy civilians across the country with Wrangler Advanced Comfort jeans and a donation in their name to the Brees Dream Foundation, which provides for children and families in need.
A contest happening simultaneously asks fans to nominate an everyday hero in their own lives. Five finalists will be chosen to receive Advanced Comfort jeans, a donation to the Brees Dream Foudation and a stipend. Also, one grand prize winner will be selected through consumer votes to receive Wrangler Jeans for life.
In a statement, Brees said, “From the stranger next door to a local public servant, the Wrangler Everyday Heroes share a vision of inspiration that helps to make our lives a little bit more comfortable, and that deserves a great deal of recognition.”
