Jeanologia is centralizing all of its operations in Asia.
The denim finishing technology company recently opened a new innovation hub in Hong Kong, where a local Jeanologia team of laser designers, technology experts and representatives are on hand to share their knowledge and work alongside clients to develop new sustainable finishing processes.
Equipped with all of Jeanolgia’s eco technology, including laser, G2 ozone, e-flow, Smart Boxes and H2Zero, the hub will serve as a “miniature factory that allows us to finish the production of jeans in an eco-efficient way and share our know-how by training local companies,” said Jordi Juani, Jeanologia’s director of the Asia Division.
With this all-in-one center, Jeanologia aims to reduce the “time-to-market” of new design processes and ramp up competitiveness.
The consolidation reinforces Jeanologia’s expansion plans and commitment to the Chinese textile industry. The company stated that it will help build deeper relationships with clients, understand their needs first-hand and will accelerate Jeanologia’s mission to reduce the denim industry’s reliance on water and chemicals.

Hong Kong is Jeanologia’s seventh hub. The Spanish company operates centers located in Turkey, Brazil, India, Bangladesh, Mexico and the U.S.
“It is no longer enough to export,” Juani said. “To achieve the revolution we want in the textile industry, we need to establish ourselves in those countries.”
