A recent study by 2CV* that surveyed 2,500 female millennials across five countries (the U.S., Germany, Spain, China, and Brazil) revealed that more than two-thirds of respondents wanted jeans that would allow them to move around comfortably, but also wanted jeans that were “stylish,” “looked good” and looked like “real denim.”
And while more than 55 percent of those same consumers desire jeans that keep their shape, only 22 percent said the last pair of jeans they purchased did so, revealing a significant gap between consumers’ expectations and reality.
