Kingpins Says These Are the Most Sustainable Products in the Denim Supply Chain

Where there is sustainability, there is also the possibility of greenwashing.

In an attempt to avoid the latter, denim trade show Kingpins Show has published the second edition of its Most Sustainable Products (MSP) list.

As the name implies, the list highlights 10 of the most sustainable exhibitors at its Spring/Summer 2021  in Amsterdam last October. The first list was published last June and represented the Fall/Winter 2020 season.

This time around, the show organized products by innovations in three categories: environmentally friendly fibers; application processes that reduce water, chemical and energy usage; and new concepts.

“Innovation, sustainability and transparency are the critical elements of our show today. MSP is our solution to bring actionable and reliable information to brands and designers looking for the most sustainable and impactful resources at their disposal,” said Andrew Olah, founder of Kingpins Show. “Our research is continual and we are open to hearing from any and all mills anytime—24/7, 365 days a year—for new, sustainable products.”

These are Kingpins’ most sustainable products for Spring/Summer 2021:
