Express shoppers can now enroll in and access Express Next, the company’s loyalty program, through the Express mobile app.
The retailer rolled out a number of other changes to its mobile app (available for both iOS and Android), including the ability for Express Next credit card holders to access balances and scan their smartphones to make cardless payments for in-store purchases.
“We know that mobile devices are increasingly important to our customers,” said Elizabeth Crystal, Chief Marketing Officer at Express. “The main driver behind the mobile app upgrade was to enhance the overall experience with Express and present an app that is relevant to our most loyal customers, whether browsing, shopping, or engaging with the brand.”
Users of the app will also have access to features like such as ‘shop like a pro’, which allows users to browse styles and scan barcodes in-store to access the same item in-app, and ‘Get social’, which ties in the retailer’s Instagram and You Tube feeds and share product pages via SMS or social media.
