Levi’s Pilots Intel’s RFID System

Levi’s has partnered with Intel to test the technology company’s new real-time inventory platform in its Levi’s Plaza store in San Francisco. The platform is designed to create more accuracy and visibility across the store’s inventory.

Through RFID tags on products, data from the system’s smart sensor network is pulled into a cloud and converted into insights for the store’s employees, Levi’s executive team and supply chain, ultimately enabling the company to make better ordering decisions.

On the sales floor level, the system offers employees a more accurate view of the styles, washes and sizes available, allowing them to better service customers.
