Nordstrom’s Charitable Treasure&Bond Expands into Men’s Denim

Nordstrom has announced the expansion of its give-back brand Treasure&Bond into men’s denim, as well as announcing a new beneficiary, the Boys and Girls Club of America (BGCA).

Treasure&Bond, which previously only incorporated women’s apparel, will now grow to include women’s footwear, handbags and soft accessories, as well as men’s apparel and kid’s apparel. Kid’s apparel will launch in February 2016, while handbags will be available starting in October. The rest of the collection is available now in-store and online.

The new men’s line will focus on rooted denim under $100, laundered tees, lived-in shirts, jackets and rugged sweaters. The new women’s footwear keeps in line with Treasure&Bond’s Americana-inspired aesthetic, featuring casual urban boots and booties, and distressed leather sandals and flats.

From August 1, 2015 through January 2016, proceeds from sales of Treasure&Bond will support the Boys and Girls Club of America, the national organization that promotes well-being, learning and fun to nearly 4 million children across the country.

“We’re very excited to partner with Nordstrom through their Treasure&Bond brand,” said Chad Royal-Pascoe, national vice president, corporate and cause partnerships for BGCA. “Together with the support of Nordstrom customers, we’ll be able to bring valuable programming and resources to kids across the country, helping them to reach their full potential as productive, caring and responsible citizens.”

Since its launch in summer 2014, Nordstrom reports it has given roughly $440,000 through Treasure&Bond to its nonprofit partners Girls on the Run and Girls Inc.
