Uniqlo Links Up with Lemaire

Uniqlo, a division of Fast Retailing, announced it will be collaborating with French designer Christophe Lemaire for a Fall ’15 collection of menswear and womenswear to be sold at its stores worldwide.

The designer is known for his four years designing for Hermes, and, in 2014, he started his eponymous label, Lemaire. Lemaire focuses on clothing inspired by day-to-day life, so the collaboration with Uniqlo, known for its simplicity with a focus on clean design, is a logical move.

Tadashi Yanai, the president and CEO of Fast Retailing, said, “Lemaire’s approach to design respects individuality and merges perfectly with the Uniqlo Lifewear philosophy, aimed at making life better.”
