Denimsandjeans Vietnam Plans 2023 Show

After being postponed due to covid, Denimsandjeans Vietnam’s fifth show will take place March 1-2, 2023 in Ho Chi Minh.

Over 40 companies are scheduled to exhibit at the event encompassing fabric, garment and accessory companies from China, India, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Hong Kong and more. Archroma, Cone Denim, Lenzing, Siddiqsons, SM Denim, Tonello, Vav Technology and XDD Textile are among the confirmed exhibitors.

With the yoga-inspired theme “Yogim,” Denimsandjeans Vietnam will highlight innovations in comfort and stretch denim. A lineup of speakers and panel discussions will cover new trends in fashion and sourcing.

The trade show has been hosted in Vietnam since 2016 and attracts visitors from all around the world. Denimsandjeans said it expects “strong” attendance from visitors from Hong Kong, Japan, the EU and U.S.

The event aims to fill the void created in the last three years by covid and capitalize on Vietnam’s rising profile as a key sourcing country for denim. The country’s denim imports to the U.S. rose 19.06 percent to $285.82 million year to date though October.

Vietnam shipped over 70 million pieces of denim apparel globally in 2021, Denimsandjeans reported.

The India-based event organizer will also host Denimsandjeans India in Bangalore on April 26-27, 2023. The company held its first-ever show in Japan in November.

The denim industry’s 2023 calendar is filling up. Kingpins New York is scheduled for Jan. 11-12, while its Amsterdam event is set for April 12-13. Bluezone will take place in Munich on Jan. 24-25 and July 18-19. Denim Premiere Vision will return to Berlin on May 31-June 1.
