The Bangladesh Denim Expo, slated for May 11-12 in Dhaka, will spotlight a curated selection of the country’s denim mills, laundries and finishers, including Partex and Denim Expert. The expo will also showcase innovations from international players including Absolute Denim from Thailand, India’s Raymond Ico, USA-based A&E, and Garmon from Italy.
The event is an opportunity for the industry to see the full scope of the denim trade’s capabilities in Bangladesh, which is the second largest supplier of denim goods in Europe. Expo founder Mostafiz Uddin said, “By pulling together at this professional event, we can lift up standards in Bangladesh and upgrade the international perception of our apparel industry.”
Attendees can also take advantage of a trend seminar hosted by WGSN, a dedicated trend zone and an invitation-only fashion show and dinner.
The last Bangladesh Denim Expo in November drew more than 2,500 visitors, including Primark and H&M.
