While the global pandemic has inspired cozy trends such as tie-dye sweats and other forms of loungewear, reports show consumers are looking to switch things up for Fall—and according to global fashion search platform Lyst, it’s all about leather.
The classic autumnal material is coming back even stronger after dominating last year’s Fall/Winter 19-20 runway shows. Lyst reported that searches for leather apparel are up 31 percent since the start of August. And with comfort a top priority for consumers, looser styles such as wide-leg trousers and Bermuda shorts are especially popular.
