There’s no shortage of new denim fits and washes in the market, and trendsetters like Bella Hadid, Hailey Bieber and Dua Lipa are eagerly testing them out.

The latest celebrity street style photos show the depth of denim’s so-called “new cycle” spanning leather-accented sets (a la Timothée Chalamet’s look at Vanity Fair’s Oscar party) to the laser-printed jeans Ella Emhoff wore at Paris Fashion Week and Chrissy Teigen sported in Los Angeles.

Chalamet’s post-Oscars Alexander McQueen look isn’t the only example of denim turning up at special events. “Euphoria” actress Hunter Schafer stepped out in a Rick Owens denim gown at the same party. Blake Lively wore an extra-long jean jacket over a Versace gown to the New York City premiere of the film “The Adam Project” and actress Janet Gough slipped into a laser-printed jumpsuit for the premiere of “How I Met Your Father.”

Jeans are finding a home alongside of-the-moment trends. Dua Lipa stepped out in a F/W 22-23 Diesel look just days after it debuted on the brand’s Y2K-themed runway in Milan. The quilted denim jeans and bra top paired with a denim handbag. Jennifer Lopez channeled cottagecore with a tiered patchwork denim skirt and Vanessa Hudgens is ready for festival season with cow-printed jeans.

Balenciaga‘s wide-leg jeans were the go-to bottoms for Bieber and Hadid during Paris Fashion Week. Hadid was spotted wearing the fashion house’s ripped faded black option; Bieber wore a pair in blue with stitching details down the leg.

Recent looks by Kendall Jenner and Anne Hathaway underscore recent NPD data showing that straight-leg jeans are the new top-selling fit among women in the U.S., surpassing the once universally popular skinny jean. Both women wore the classic jeans with a blazer and simple white top. Shredded jeans added an edgy vibe to both A$AP Rocky’s and John Legend’s varsity-inspired outfits.

Red satin shoes popped against actress Jennifer Connelly’s dark-wash straight-leg jeans, while Hadid opted for cheetah-print footwear for a jeans-and-blazer moment.
