12 Pride Items You Can Buy to Support the LGBTQ+ Community

Celebrating Pride often includes rainbow-themed apparel and accessories, but it’s more than just a photo op for members of the LGBTQ+ community and their allies—and brands are taking note. Sometimes criticized for commodifying a demographic or cause, fashion brands are now stepping up to support organizations representing the groups from which they benefit.

And consumers are eager to throw in their support.

Searches for Pride gear are picking up momentum, according to data by global fashion search platform Lyst. Searches for “Pride Converse” increased 45 percent in 24 hours following the brand’s 5th Pride collection launch, Lyst reported. Teva, which also launched a rainbow-printed sandal has seen searches for its sandals increase 17 percent week-on-week.

Here, Rivet has rounded up stylish Pride merch that has the charitable contributions and support to match.
