Go Behind the Scenes at Rivet’s Denim Streetwear Photo Shoot

COVID-19 recovery is on the horizon but the pandemic's impact on sustainability, retail, product development and consumer buying patterns means the denim industry must evolve. Join Rivet on April 20th at 11 am ET for the COVID, One Year Later roundtable.

In Rivet’s latest issue, luxury streetwear and designer denim collections hit the streets.

For the editorial “Warriors,” Rivet teamed with photographer Timothy Smith, whose work includes editorials for Vogue Italia, Bullett Magazine, Grazia and more, for a youth-driven story that showcases high-fashion denim with a streetwear edge.

Shot on the hottest day of the summer in Brooklyn, New York—in some of the heaviest denim garments in the market—models Gytis Gedvilas, Gabriel Gomieri, Nya Kong, and Chen Xi kept their cool in special pieces from Alberta Ferretti Jeans, Off-White, Martine Rose, Amiri and more.

Deconstructed items featured in the story include Faustine Steinmetz‘s silk and denim vest, Y/Project‘s layered jeans and Unravel’s nylon and jean jacket.

The looks were capped with streetwear ‘It’ items like luxury dad sneakers from Palm Angels and Roberto Cavalli, Calvin Klein cowboy boots, frames by Gucci and Prada bucket hats.
