Comfort lifestyle brand 4EurSole has become better acquainted with their consumer. Since launching in 2015 with a tight collection of convertible clogs, the division of Rocky Brands has expanded and redefined its target market, building product based on women’s active lifestyles.
“The key word here is active,” said Liz Horn, Rocky Brands Inc. senior vice president of lifestyle markets.
4EurSole has found an audience in busy women who spend a lot of their day on their feet. From mothers and teachers, to health professionals and other industry service providers, Horn says 4EurSole aims to be “the brand of choice in many aspects of their lives.”
The company is reaching that goal by pairing effortlessly chic uppers with its layered EurSole Sandal comfort system for Spring ’18. “We build beautiful looking uppers around really incredible comfort system,” Horn said.
The system starts with a recycled rubber 4-Way Stop outsole that is slip resistant in dry, wet, oily and soapy environments. A lightweight flexible EVA midsole provides cushioning and shock absorption and is dipped to add realistic textures to the design. A contoured, dual-density cord/EVA footbed is topped with a layer of memory foam, an arch stabilizing disk for arch support and leather for complete comfort.
For its third sandal collection, Horn says the brand is offering three sandal outsoles: a flat, mid wedge and a high wedge. One of the brand’s most popular styles is a sandal with a foot strap through a hole in the heel to allow the ultimate in adjustable fit. The unique design reduces heel slippage.
Spring ’18 will bring new leather and cord stories, as well as warm weather updates for the Comfort Forever collection 4EurSole launched for Fall ’17. The line guarantees lifetime comfort.
“Burgundy colors are going to be strong for spring, so you’ll see deep red leathers and we’ve paired them with beautiful floral patterns,” said Horn. “We’ve also toned down some really nice and sophisticated metallic.”
4EurSole has found its niche with comfort and family-owned independents. The brand hopes to reach new key account buyers at FFANY. “Consumers are loving the brand,” Horn said.
