Adidas and Beyoncé’s Ivy Park Drop Second Athleisure Capsule

A lifetime ago—in January—Beyoncé’s much-anticipated street-inspired Ivy Park brand and Adidas debuted a new gender-neutral capsule of athleisure apparel and footwear. Now, the pair have returned with a second, hype-driven drop.

The appropriately named Drip 2 collection includes gender-neutral and inclusively sized apparel, as well as trend-right footwear and accessories. The collaboration “pushes the boundaries of traditional performance wear to deliver a collection that is effortlessly functional, relentlessly stylish, and always inclusive,” Adidas says.

Beyoncé has promoted the Drip 2 collection to her 155 million Instagram over the past week, modeling the capsule’s vivid color palette of real coral, mesa, yellow tint, dark green and green tint. Consumers can shop the collection’s inclusive and genderless sizing, which ranges from XXXS-4X in many styles. Accessories encompass a selection of belts, socks and hats, alongside functional belt bags, fanny packs and a duffle bag.

The collaboration became available online at adidas.com and on the Adidas app Thursday, with many sizes and styles quickly selling out, and launches in select stores Friday. Prices range from $25 for accessories to $200 for outerwear.

Ivy Park also expanded its footwear offerings with six new styles, including updated colorways of the Ivy Park Ultra Boost, Nite Jogger and Super Sleek 72 silhouettes, as well as introducing the Ivy Park Forum sneaker in both Mid and Lo offerings.  The footwear reinterprets classic Adidas silhouettes and incorporates lacing and hook systems that allow the wearer to clip the shoes to a gym bag.

Adidas’ second Beyoncé collab arrives amid a crowd of other team-ups between major fashion companies and celebrities—especially musicians.

Last month, Kohl’s and Adidas unveiled a new collaboration with actress Zoe Saldana. The collection of women’s active apparel, footwear and accessories includes tops, bottoms, jackets, footwear, bags, and hats. The items, curated by Saldana herself, will be refreshed every season and includes an array of pastel and bold colors for women, whether they are hanging out at home or exercising on the go.
