Will the Gazelle be the new superstar in Adidas Originals’ comeback? The brand is reintroducing the classic suede sneaker for Fall ’16 in a collection that pays homage to the style’s golden era of design.

To kick off the relaunch, Adidas Originals has reissued an early version from the ’90s with a vintage suede upper, off-white rubber sole and the style’s signature leather serrated three-stripes. The initial collection, which debuted June 1, includes three colorways: navy, green and gray. More styles will be released throughout the season.

The Gazelle was first introduced in the 1960s when it was accepted into mod culture, followed by the reggae crowd and the grunge scene.
