Adidas introduced Solar Boost, a running shoe with Boost technology in the heel and an “s” curve construction for comfort and responsiveness.

The sneaker features an open cable mesh for breathability. Meanwhile multi-color braiding and a laser-etched midsole adds visual interest. Some styles are equipped with Techfit, the brand’s heel to midfoot lockdown fit system.

Adidas introduced Boost in 2013 in running and has since expanded the program to basketball, baseball, tennis, snowboarding and training categories. The technology is made up of thousands of capsules that store and release energy during action.

The Solar Boost is available on Adidas.com in five colorways for women and five colorways for men. The shoe retails for $100.
