Caleres was honored by the Women’s Forum of New York for gender diversity on its Board of Directors.

The Women’s Forum of New York is dedicated to the advancement of women’s leadership through programs that promote education and corporate board participation.

Caleres was one of 400 companies that were recognized for diversity. The footwear company currently has four women on its board: Caleres CEO, President and Chairman Diane Sullivan; Lori Greeley, former CEO of Victoria’s Secret Stores; Patricia McGinnish, a professor of practice at George Washington University; and Carla Hendra, global chairman of OgilvyRED.

Sullivan stated, “A diverse board means diverse perspectives, experiences and approaches – helping us bring the best to our consumers around the world. We are honored to be recognized by the Women’s Forum of New York but frankly, it makes solid business sense to approach our board membership in this way. It is the right thing to do and the smart thing to do.”
