COVID-19 recovery is on the horizon but the pandemic's impact on sustainability, retail, product development and consumer buying patterns means the denim industry must evolve. Join Rivet on April 20th at 11 am ET for the COVID, One Year Later roundtable.

Eco-conscious children’s footwear brand Cienta Shoes participated in Super Saturday LA (May 16) and Super Saturday NY (July 25), the star-studded, garage sale-style fundraisers for the Ovarian Cancer Research Fund (OCRF). In total, Cienta Shoes donated over 300 pairs of shoes with all sales supporting OCRF.

OCRF is one of the oldest and largest US-based charities funding research on ovarian cancer. All of the proceeds from sales of merchandise, tickets and tables go toward funding OCRF’s programs. Cienta Shoes said in a press release, it was thrilled to contribute to an organization that is doing “meaningful work in the vital research of ovarian cancer.”

This year’s Super Saturday events, hosted by Rachel Zoe and Molly Sims in Santa Monica, CA and Kelly Ripa and Donna Karan in Water Mill, NY, saw over 2,500 shoppers, including celebrities, editors, designers and bargain lovers. Over 150 designer brands across a variety of categories participated in the shopping event, offering 30-50 percent off retail prices.
