Clarks Launches Interactive Timeline

To celebrate its 190th anniversary, Clarks worked in conjunction with the Victoria & Albert Museum in London to create a multimedia platform called, Clarks Unboxed.

Clarks Unboxed features 12 stories about the people and product innovations behind the brand from the 1820s to today, and features archival images and text. Each page flows smoothly into the next with motion graphics and subtle sound effects.

The timeline traces the brand’s history and highlights including when Queen Victoria complimented the brand at the World’s Fair in 1851, Clarks’ development of hinged wooden soles (or “limbers”) in World War II, to Wallabies making their way to the East Coast rap scene.
