Concepts and Converse Tag Team a Cone Denim Sneaker

When it’s deliver-or-die, supply chains become the lifeblood of a company. To that end, the fashion industry has embraced technology to navigate today’s hyper-complicated supply chain, with myriad solutions shaping the first, middle and last mile. Call it Sourcing 2.0.

Converse and Cambridge, Massachusetts-based sneaker store Concepts are collaborating on the Converse All Star Chuck ’70 silhouette in raw Cone denim.

The sneaker retains most of the original All Star design, but incorporates triple stitch detailing for a vintage effect. Each pair has fabric woven in two separate directions, with the left sneaker constructed of left hand twill and the right made of right hand twill, to highlight the iconic denim’s texture.

The Chuck Taylor All Star ’70 “Cone Denim” ($110) will be available exclusively at Concepts beginning May 30.
