Converse got a jump start on Spring ’16 by rolling out three new product lines at the start of the year.
Converse Chuck Taylor All Star Sex Pistols
The brand pays homage to the legendary punk band, Sex Pistols, with a range of All Star sneakers and apparel. The line of high and low-top sneakers are decked out with colors, materials and graphics inspired by the brand’s iconic album art, including the Union Jack, punk-ish stripes, newspaper prints and pops of neon pink and yellow. Each style features the Sex Pistols logo on the tongue of the sneaker as well as in the foot bed. Shoes retail for $64-$80.
Converse Cons One Star Pro
The Converse Cons One Star Pro, a model that dates back to 1974, returns after a successful relaunch in Fall ’15. The updated men’s sneaker features a Nike Lunarlon sockliner, its signature traction rubber and a gusseted tounge good for skateboarding or everyday wear.
The shoe is offered in three new colorways for spring: white, soft black and green camouflage. Sneakers retail for $75. A coordinating utility backpack made with durable Cordura fabric is available for $130.
Converse Chuck Taylor All Star Loopholes
Converse has customization covered with the all-new Kids Chuck Taylor All Star Loophole collection for girls. The low-top sneakers have a loophole loom tongue design and two additional laces.
The brand compares the concept to friendship bracelets, allowing girls to creatively express themselves in a do-it-yourself way with colorful laces and patterns. Colorways include white/purple, tea/blue, lavender/purple and black/pink.
The sneakers also have a slip-on construction that makes for an easy on and easy off. Sneakers retail for $40.
