DSW announced the kick off of its Shoe Lovers Care Leave York Mark program. It is the fourth time the retail launched the program since 2013. The program enables DSW associates to nominate non-profits that make an impression on their lives for a chance to win a $75,000 donation from DSW.

There are currently five local and three national non-profits competing to be finalists. Finalist include: Association for Women in Science – Massachusetts Chapter; Brother Wolf Animal Rescue; Colon Cancer Alliance; Darkness to Light; Fisher House Foundation; The Foundation for New Education Initiatives, Inc.; Village Family Services; and YWCA Columbus.

Jonica Armstrong, community relations manager for DSW, said, “What’s really motivating about this program is the ability to share with our customers what our associates are passionate about. We’ve found that the organizations are not only appreciative of DSW’s financial support but also enormously grateful for the awareness that DSW associates bring to their causes.”

DSW fans and customers will choose the non-profit that receives the award through online voting, open now at ShoeLoversCare.com through June 16.
