Emu Australia announced it will roll out its 2016 collection in tandem with a global partnership with WaterAid, a global organization working towards safer water, sanitation and hygiene.
The brand’s 2016 collection includes an expanded Ever Natural 365 offering and its largest selection of waterproof styles, including an emphasis on designs geared toward a younger consumer. Emu’s Waterproof Collection has received SATRA accreditation to 150,000 flexes and a thermal rating of 22 degrees Fahrenheit.
“It’s an exciting time for the brand as we introduce more breadth and fashion elements to our collection”, said Paul Neate, Emu Australia managing director. He added, “Partnering with WaterAid is also an important step for us. We know our globally connected consumers care deeply about issues such as safe water for people in the poorest countries, as do we.”
Emu shot their Fall ’16 campaign in New York with Australian model Elyse Knowles, a supporter of WaterAid.
WaterAid Australia Chief Executive Paul Nichols, said, “WaterAid is delighted to have Emu Australia as a global partner in 2016. WaterAid works to transform the lives of the world’s poorest and most marginalized people by improving access to safe water, sanitation and hygiene. With Emu’s support WaterAid can help reduce disease, create better livelihoods and ensure more women and children take steps on the pathway to prosperity.”
