Emu Australia is making the move back to California. Having spent the last five years in Grand Rapids, Mich., the company announced Monday it has completed moving its heaquarters to Valencia, Cali.
Emu says the move will enable the brand and design team to better focus on its spring/summer business.
“Emu’s spring/summer line has doubled in sales volume every year since it first launched,“ said Dan Singer, president of EMU Australia, North America. “We are not just a shearling boot company. We offer a wide range of product for all seasons in both fashion and performance.”
The brand was originally based in Southern California when it was first introduced to the North American market 21 years ago. The move back benefits Emu and their retail partners as the headquarters will be situated near the warehouse, increasing speed and efficiency to market, shipping and receiving.
Emu Australia is scheduled to release an expanded Spring ’17 collection in Laguna Beach, Cali., which will be available for preview in the upcoming FFANY show in New York.
