Teva is dressing up its Original Universal in a host of materials that key into the look and feel of Fall ’16.

Bordeaux, powdery shades of pink, gold and rose gold are essential color pops in the women’s collection, which includes patent, textured metallic and snake-embossed uppers. Suede footbeds and all leather sandals return, in both natural leather and fashion colors.

The brand’s second collaboration with Opening Ceremony weighs heavily on flatforms with striped bottoms and straps with a satin finish, however, an all-white style is an unexpected standout.

White bottom sandals with reversed woven straps—a technique Teva debuted for Spring ’16—offers a festival option in line with the brand’s eclectic roots.

The brand’s history is woven throughout the collection. Natural leather as well as cork footbed sandals return for men, but the men’s closed-toe product is the strongest with sneaker boot hybrids, including a leather lace-up with woven leather panels as accent pieces. Similarly, a rugged Chelsea boot is lightened up with a sporty outsole.

Women boots, mainly offered in earth tones like olive, tan and black, are peppered with the brand’s signature arrow motifs on straps and as hardware. Teva also debuted a trio of clogs with ankle straps that are deceptively lightweight.

For “glampers” and city dwellers with rugged style, Teva is expanding its range of light hikers to include both all leather styles and more breathable options with mesh uppers.
