Teva continues to reinvent itself in ways that speak to outdoor-, comfort- and fashion-minded consumers. The three-part Spring ’16 collection offers a mix of day-to-night materials and versatile silhouettes each with the hallmarks that have made the brand a mainstay in summer wardrobes year after year.
In the Spring Escape collection, Teva builds on its water sport roots with Float Universals and Float Slides for men in a myriad of tonal red, blue, charcoal and gray textile uppers. A mashup of blue, black and gray mosaic prints are contrasted with more subtle prints on the heel. Those same triangular mosaic prints are carried in the women’s range with bolder shades of aqua, lime, orchid and pink/blue combinations—some popped with white and blue outsoles.
Canvas sneakers with Teva motifs, including a dash of tribal print on the heel and speckled laces, round out the line, offering Teva fans another way to wear the brand.
Teva plays up to its place in the festival fashion scene with Festival Season, a line of amped up silhouettes and spicy colorways mainly for women. Universal Originals are revamped with ombre color stories created by reversing the sandal’s straps. Deep teal, raspberry and orange uppers are offset by rich tan footbeds and sporty white outsoles. Men’s styles are tamer with brushed canvas sandals in gray and black. A highlight is a dark olive and orange camouflage style.
Pure and crisp shades of coral and yellow brighten up the women’s Flatform Universal—a new favorite among bloggers, Instagramers and the festival crowd. The chunky flatforms take on a rocker vibe with crackled metallic uppers on both white and black footbeds.
Dusty suede ankle boots for ladies complete the festival garb. The boot, available in tan, black and gray-blue, are spruced up with summer-friendly perforated details and a sleek strap across the vamp.
Teva taps into cool, city-friendly looks in its 100 Days of Summer collection comprised mostly of smooth leather sandals. Men’s Original Universals and slides are offered in black, gray, brown and blue leather with matching footbeds, meanwhile the women’s line includes Original Universals and slides in brown, black, tan, white and cloudy shades of pale blue and lilac. Flatforms with a bold white base are offered in tan, white, pale blue and black.
The brand turns it up a notch with iridescent, mermaid-inspired uppers in icy teal, white, black and gray. A standout style is an Original Sandal with a deep blue fish scale, metallic upper.
