Switzerland-based Inuikii has always been a rare bird in the footwear industry with its lambskin boots made with materials that span leather and fur, to Chanel-like tweed and camouflage printed suede.
For Spring ’18, the brand is living up to its eccentricity with a deep range of sporty European-made footbed sandals dressed up in the season’s must-have materials and trims. “It’s time to refresh old habits and try something new, a mix between comfort and fashion,” said Danilo Maag, Inuikii global marketing manager.
With the tag line, “Express yourself with your piece of summer,” the collection includes 62 different uppers made with materials from Spain, Italy and Portugal. The sandals are available with white and black soles.
Highlights in the collection include slides embellished with metallic leather knotted bows uppers, cascading feathers, chunky glitter, and natural and pastel raffia.
Nautical stripes add brings a resort look to crisscross sandals, while straps made with chunky cotton rope add volume. A smattering of Swarovski crystals adds a dressier look to white, powder pink and black double-strap slides.
