Nothing quite says spring like a new collection of clogs, sandals and mules.
Martha Stewart and Aerosoles are collaborating on a new collection of spring footwear for the upcoming season, combining the innovative nature of Aerosole’s products with the on-trend universality of Martha Stewart.
“I’m thrilled to share our Spring collection with everyone. Our new styles are beautifully designed, affordable and most of all, comfortable,” Martha Stewart said in a statement. “I spend long days gardening, working at my office, attending meetings, going out to dinners and I am constantly on my feet. I need shoes that offer support and beautiful workmanship and design. That is why I created the Martha Stewart line of shoes for Aerosoles. They are shoes perfect for every occasion.”
The collection will consist of 11 styles of “wardrobe staples” that follow some of the most popular footwear trends, with styles in cow, alligator and snake animal prints. The available silhouettes include flatform sandals, ballet shoes, espadrille wedges, strappy slides and mule sneakers.
The collection includes a few of the season’s more popular features as well, thanks to the addition of a slip-on mule with a sneaker-like sole, an ankle-strap sandal with a semi-closed heel and more than a few styles with espadrille midsoles.
“The new styles in the Martha Stewart Spring collection are a great addition to our traditional designs,” Lin James, VP of product development at Aerosoles, said. “We’ve created a line that marries Martha’s aesthetic and taste with the performance our customers look for, resulting in fabulous, comfortable shoes.”
In order to market the collection, Aerosoles is running an Instagram fan contest that will reward two individuals with an opportunity to attend a private event with Stewart in New York.
Previously, the two brands collaborated on a collection of equestrian-style calf-high riding boots that were weather-resistant and inspired by Stewart’s background and passion for horseback riding.
