How do models keep their toes comfortable when they’re not stomping the runway in death-defying heels? Backstage at Marchesa’s SS16 runway show at New York Fashion Week, models were spotted wearing the Ugg Classic Luxe Abree Short during test walk and hair and makeup.
Made famous by supermodel Carolyn Murphy, who in 2015 announced she was the face of the Ugg Classic Luxe Collection, the Abree Short features a clean, streamlined silhouette crafted of premium Italian materials while still maintaining the classic comfort synonymous with the brand.
“My style definitely leans towards low-maintenance, classic, and comfortable pieces,” said Murphy, describing her style. “When it comes to clothes, I work from the bottom up, choosing my shoes first so I know I can make it through the day. They [Classic Luxe] keep me comfortable and looking chic throughout the day.”
Models at the Marchesa show also kept comfortable behind-the-scenes in the Ugg Fluff Flip Flop and robes from the company’s ultra-plush loungewear line.
The Ugg Classic Luxe collection launched in August and retails from $245 to $295. The limited edition collection will be sold at Ugg’s stores and online until sold out.
