Playful, girly fashion by way of Nanette Lepore is coming to children’s footwear.

The women’s fashion brand signed a licensing deal with Josmo Shoes, the U.S.-based children’s footwear distributor for brands like Kensie Girl, Laura Ashley, Joseph Allen and more, to design and distribute girls’ footwear under the Nanette Lepore name.

Footwear will be available in department stores and upscale independents beginning August 2015.

Nanette Lepore, part of the Bluestar Alliance brand portfolio, has been focused on expanding its reach domestically and internationally through licensing agreements. Bluestar Alliance COO Ralph Gindi said the expansion into girls’ footwear is a “progressive step towards the growth of the Nanette Lepore.”
