Nike Names Jim Scholefiend Chief Technology Officer

Nike nabbed Coca-Cola’s chief technology officer Jim Scholefield, He will report to Eric Sprunk, chief operation officer for Nike Inc.

As Nike’s chief technology officer, Scholefield will be responsible for leading the company’s technology strategy to support its future growth. At Coca-Cola, he managed the creation and execution of its worldwide information technology strategy, technology operations, production support and technology engineering on a global level.

In a statement, Sprunk said, “Jim is a proven leader with more than 25 years of experience in the technology industry and we look forward to his strong leadership at Nike as we continue to create technology solutions to drive our robust innovation agenda across our global business.”
