On Thursday, the two companies announced an eight-year global merchandising and marketing partnership. Nike has been a partner of the NBA since 1992, in that time supporting some of the greatest NBA and WNBA players. It has also served as the footwear and exclusive apparel provider of USA Basketball since 2006. Now, Nike will have the global rights to design and manufacture authentic and Swingman jerseys, warm-ups and shooting shirts.
