Nike wants to give traditional winter boots a run for their month this winter with the Holiday 2015 SneakerBoots Collection. The winterized collection, available beginning Nov. 5, combines rugged interpretations of original outsoles and internal linings that makes the boots as comfortable as their sportier counterparts with weather and reflective benefits.
Men’s styles include the Air Max 95 SneakerBoot, a basketball-inspired boot with a neoprene bootie with heat-reflective sock liner; the Nike Lunar Force 1 Duck Boot, a water-resistant leather high-top with a rubberized toe; and the Air Max 90, an updated version of the favorite with weather-proof materials.
Women’s styles include the Air Max 1 SneakerBoot with thermal lining for warmth; the Acorra SneakerBoot with a detailed tread pattern for traction; and the Dunk Sky High 2.0 SneakerBoot, a wedge sneaker with a quilted collar for additional coverage.
A signature in both the men’s and women’s range is iridescent Swish logos, toe bumpers and heel panels.
Flyknit fans will appreciate the new men’s and women’s Flyknit Trainer Chukka SneakerBoot, a double-layer Flyknit upper blended with wool for warmth finished with Defender Repellent Systems spray for water resistance. The distinct knit upper is paired with a multi-colored reflective panels on the heel and toe.
