Outdoor Retailer will bring the best of Fall ’16 outdoor collections to New York City. The outdoor trade show, held every winter and summer in Salt Lake City, announced plans to host Get Outdoors——NYC, its first consumer media event in New York City, June 8-9, 2016.
The event aims to draw consumer media from print and online outlets and will showcase apparel, footwear and gear from Fall ’16 collections.
Geared toward smaller to mid-level companies that may not have the funds to produce an event of their own, Outdoor Retailer Vice President Marisa Nicholson described the event as an “excellent chance to engage with consumer media at a reasonable cost.”
Nicholson added that editors and influential bloggers from outlets such as Glamour, Men’s Health, O, The Oprah Magazine, and Refinery29 are tuning into the outdoor market. She said, “More editors are paying attention to what our community has to offer, not only relating to style, but also, to fitness, technology, health and well-being, which makes the outdoor industry a perfect place to turn to for trend and consumer stories.”
Get Outdoors—NYC can accommodate 35 companies. The costs is $4,500 for two days.
