Pat O’Malley Named Saucony’s New President

Wolverine Worldwide announced Monday the promotion of Saucony Senior Vice President for Global Product Pat O’Malley to president of the Saucony brand. O’Malley replaces Richie Woodworth, who was recently appointed to the company’s Lifestyle Group.

With more than 25 years of experience in the footwear industry, including 12 years with Sauncony, O’Malley was responsible for launching some of the athletic brands most innovative product, including the ISOFIT and EVERUN collections. He previously held various leadership positions with Nike and Reebok.

In a press release, Blake Krueger, Wolverine Worldwide chairman, president and CEO, said praised O’Malley for his “ability to build innovative and industry-leading teams.” He added, “We are excited Pat will be bringing his skills as a strategic partner and determined leader to the leadership role for the Saucony brand. Wolverine’s vision is to build a family of the most admired performance and lifestyle brands on earth, and we are pleased to have Pat continue to contribute to that goal in his new role.”
