Pharrell Williams’ Buzzworthy Collab with Timberland Drops Today

When it’s deliver-or-die, supply chains become the lifeblood of a company. To that end, the fashion industry has embraced technology to navigate today’s hyper-complicated supply chain, with myriad solutions shaping the first, middle and last mile. Call it Sourcing 2.0.

Footwear fanatics are making a bee line to Timberland store across the country today for Pharrell WilliamsBillionaire Boys Club’s fourth, and quite literal, Timberland x Bee Line collaboration.

Inspired by a honeycomb, the collection’s signature six-inch canvas boot for women uses an actual image of a honeycomb Williams’ found. A six-inch canvas boot featuring a photo-real image of green grass rounds out the collection. Both boots are made with bionic canvas, which contains 50 percent organic cotton and 38 percent recycled PET.

On Monday, Beyoncé, whose legions of fans are called “the Beehive”, added to the buzz surrounding the collaboration by wearing the honeycomb style in Nicki Manaj’s “Feeling Myself” music video.

The boots retail for $240, and are currently available at Timberland stores in Boston, Chicago, New York, Philadelphia and San Francisco, and at Billionaire Boys Club’s New York City store.
