Spanish footwear brand Pikolinos is celebrating creativity in its new #CraftYourWay campaign for Fall ’15 and Spring ’16. The company is kicking off the social media promotion with its first featured artist, indie musician Tamara Laurel.
The purpose of the campaign is to follow artists on their alternative creative paths and document the artists’ stories via social media and on the Pikolinos website.
Laurel, a rising indie music star, launched her first full album, Runaway, in October without a label to allow her music to exist outside the industry’s constraints. Her work is a combination of folk and Americana with a freshness and vitality that Pikolinos believes embodies the ethos of the campaign. She will be featured in a photography and video marketing campaign, and songs from Runaway and her first EP Lightning will be available on the shoe brand’s site.
In a release, Laurel said, “Not only do [Pikolinos] have a wonderful team and beautiful product, but the shoes are perfect for my ‘on the go’ lifestyle and when I’m traveling on tour. I’m happy to bring Pikolinos on this journey with me!”
