Rocky Brands issued a recall on a style of men’s hunting boot after a contractor demonstrating the product sustained injuries from a snakebite.

The men’s 16 Silent Hunter Snake Boot is a 16-inch rubber boot equipped with a snake guard, now proven ineffective. The boot retailed for $200.

Rocky Brands advises customers to stop wearing the boot immediately; they can request either a full refund for the boots or a free pair of replacement snakebite-proof boots in one of the following models: Lynx Snake, Classic Lynx Snake, Prolight Snake in lace up, pull-on or side-zip styles.
